Hi All,
I want to use a script to find out my public ip address using a script,
be it perl/bash...I know i can go to whatsmyip.org, but i was wondering if
there was a way to automate it. the reason is pretty lame. My mom sometimes
needs some software and I usually install it by ssh'ing to her system. I ask
her to open the browser and go to whatsmyip.org and get it thru that. but if
I can automate this, then I could have her computer update my records with
her latest ip when her computer boots. the eventual step would be to update
the dyndns account with her computers latest ip. Unfortunately her router
doesnt support dyndns by default.

Regards,
Arun
