Yes - University of Maryland has some good programs.  They have a mail
list whih may be of interest - UM-LINUX at LISTSERV.UMD.EDU.  I did not see
you post to them - but it would be worth asking there.  There is a group
in Columbia, Maryland (http://calug.org) which might be worthwhile to
approach as well.
