Hi all,

The local Zope and Python Users Group of DC now meets bi-monthly in the same
place as DCLUG! Our next meeting is at 7:00PM this Tuesday May 1, 2007 and
features a presentation on multimedia in Plone.

If case you haven't heard, Plone is an open source Content Management System
(CMS) that runs on Zope2 and has a lot of compelling features for
developers, including:

 - Plone is a world class CMS out of the box.
 - Plone is a framework for building a wide variety of web applications in
Python.
 - Plone has a large/friendly community of users and developers.
 - Plone uses Zope3 technology (in Zope2 with a Product called Five) to push
the feature envelope in a sane coding environment.

It's probably good for end users too ;-)

In any event I'm looking forward to seeing some cross-group attendance
between DCLUG and ZPUGDC in the coming months!
