CPCUG's "Project Reboot" (http://reboot.cpcug.org/index.html) is a 
really cool operation.  They're in Rockville, and they  take lots of 
stuff.  Their purpose is to refurbish and donate the equipment to a 
variety of charitable targets.  A friend and I dropped about $4K 
worth of 2U servers etc. on them last year, and they were thrilled to 
have them.
