ISTM that they are distinguishing between largest and longest.  Have
you?  Axons and dendrites are extremely long, but not correpondingly
wide.  Ova are fairly bulky and more or less, well, ovoid, IIRC.

Well, yes.  And no.

If you can answer questions after thinking, not "does this somewaht
match something I saw in an indisputably correct reference book" but
"what did this person intend to ask, and want to come away knowing"?;
and if you can acknowledge that you are sometimes wrong; and if you
really have a yen to help other people know the things you have learned
- then, by all means, contribute.

If it is just bugging you that they won't agree with you, then please
stop.  You will only raise your blood pressure, increasing risk factors
for CVA, CHF, MI, renal failure, and other things.  But you knew that.
