Agency Clearances are not "Real Clearances".
This discussion is about DoD Clearances...Secret and above.
And Greg, I beg to differ. There are MANY jobs out there that say
"Clearance Required". Most companies will NOT hire you without one.
Today it's all Instant Gratification; few companies have any patience.
I had a big argument on the DC Sage group not long ago, and many people
who HAD clearances and who worked for companies couldn't understand why
it was such a bad thing not to clear their own people.
Pretty hypocritical for them to worry about their own cleared people
leaving, but yet accept people cleared by other companies.
Yes, I am sure that SOME companies WILL clear people. But Very Few.
