hi dclug community,
a friend of mine moved out to silicon valley last year. yesterday
he sent me an email that his elementary school kids adore some logic
puzzles called sokodroid on his google android phone. he asked me if
i'm the same phil shapiro as the person who designed the "simple
sokoban" levels. "yup," i told him. "i designed those in 1992 on a
mac plus computer."
it's way cool to see those puzzle levels ported for use on linux
and portable electronic devices.
there's a version of my levels that run under debian distros of
linux, too. see
http://grayskygames.com/sokoban.html
this app runs great under ubuntu.
and for those who might be interested, here's an article i wrote
about why i designed those logic puzzle levels.

thanks for spreading the word to others you know who might
enjoy these puzzles. i'm happy to give away what i create for free,
but i need your help in getting the word out to folks that some of the
best software their kids can enjoy costs no money at all.
