[Dclug] DCLUG meeting tonight: no presentation, just meet-and-chat

Meeting Theme or Topic Suggestion/Request:

   - Users of FOSS NLE running on Linux, Unix, BDS (including Mac OS X
   v10.6) for use on editing video and sound.
   - In Metro DC is using FOSS NLE for their production and are willing to
   contribute their knowledge for future programs on the topic
   - Field shoots and interviews of users and and studios (home or
   commercial)

I believe in using the best (and affordable) tools to create high quality
works. Outside of the LUGS, I am networking with independent video producers
and editors interested in using Open Source products. The use of FOSS
products with proprietary work well to create better still and motion
pictures and also sound.

My projects include creating a series on Linux, FOSS as a cost effective
alternative to proprietary products to address many production needs.
