I'm getting installed next week.
I've read on teh internets that Windows is only required to "activate"
your service (and install shovelware). I've also read that you can
convince the installer to do the activation with the installer's own
laptop. Does anyone have experience doing this? I could spin up a
throwaway Windows VM for the purpose of activiation, but I'd prefer not to.
Thanks,
Rich
