Have you tried a command line updater? Also check the loggers config and
make sure its set to full blast! :)

Hello everyone I have been trying to get dynamic DNS to work with Bind9 and
am a bit stumped. My static DNS entries are working correctly for my
internal and external zones fine. From what I've seen bind is suppose to
make .jnl files for the zones I'm doing my dynamic DNS for and its not. I
look at my syslog and don't see anything about it trying to do my dynamic
DNS or anything. Does anyone know if there is a way to force bind to make
the .jnl files or what might be causing bind and DHCP not to do dynamic
DNS. I've checked the obvious things such as folder permissions and config
issues which both look good. I'm running both my DHCP server and bind9 on a
Ubuntu 9.10 box. Any help would be greatly appreciated I'm starting to get
fusterated with bind. I wouldn't think something like this should be such a
chore. Also I'm willing to provide my config files if need I didn't want to
put them in the e-mail at this point because it would be a rather large
file.
Thanks,
Brian Madonna
