Thanks. Evidently the "\" from the "\n" construct didn't survive the
translation.
Believe it or not, I actually read and store my mail using Windows You
see, I build and rebuild so many versions of Linux I don't really have a
stable environment I can commit to.
Of course it would be a lot easier if Comcast would support IMAP! I
suppose I could use fetchmail to get the mail via POP and then put up my
own IMAP server, but then I'd still have the same problem of reading it
from work. Sigh.
