o wow, impressive cosmic views Charles!   and what a coincidence, I 
usually don't mess much with GIMP in that way, but somehow a comment one 
of my facebook friends made on my new office inspired me on this turkey 
day to make a cosmic office view:

if you look closely, I cheated on the blinds. I used a quick mask but it 
was very tedious to try and do the blinds, even with a fuzzy brush. 
Perhaps my Wacom  tablet and a steady hand will do a more 
impressive/accurate job, but for now, this will have to be it.
