Well I picked up the Desktop from Dell, and it's a pretty nice
machine, nice widescreen LCD with speakers. I went ahead and
installed FC6 on it with everything.
Also picked up our badge reader, it's very easy to use, and I was
told it outputs all information into a plain coma delimited file, so
I guess technically that makes it linux compatible :-).
Also the Ubuntu CDs arrived, and I'll be bringing the boxes in
tomorrow morning before the show. Like the others I've divided them
into three boxes, one for each day. Just as a heads up but there is
a wide variety of Ubuntu versions in each box (Kubuntu, Ubuntu 6.10,
Ubuntu 6.06, Ubuntu 64bit, Edubuntu), so be sure to look through the
days box and make note of what you have for the day. Try to focus
special versions of Ubuntu to relevant people as they talk to you.
Thanks.
Last note, I have added a few more people to the registration based
on the booth-signup wiki as of 8:15pm today.
Thanks,
David
