Use an IRC client. There's quite a few out there. Linux/Fedora comes 
with several. XChat and Konversation are two good candidates. Install 
them. If you're new to IRC, you should probably read up a bit on what it 
is, and how to use it.

"We" hang out on Freenode channel #fredlug. Both XChat and Konversation 
has freenode listed. Basically connect to the server, pick a nick and 
join the channel.

I'm also a bit surprised that this list is quiet; but I think it may be 
because we're not too many members on the list yet?? Let's see if we can 
recruit some and get a bit of dialog going here.
