Meeting notes

We met on Tuesday night (15 May) but I forgot to drop some notes to the
list. Sorry for the tardiness... Jared, Aaron, Chris*, and I were in
attendance that evening. (*I think this is the right name. If you're
out there and I got this wrong, please forgive me, since I'm terrible
with names.)

I gave a short (?) presentation on logging -- how it works, how to use
it to troubleshoot problematic services, how to log SELinux problems,
and so forth. Jared helpfully added some very helpful information on
remote logging as well. We also had some discussions about open
content, people's experience with iTunes with regard to Linux (or lack
thereof), and some other odds and ends.

I uploaded a copy of the presentation (in PDF format) to our group page
at http://groups.google.com/group/fredlug/ for anyone who wants to see
it. Since I dashed this one off on short notice there's no speakers
notes, but if you have questions, just ask on the list and we can
discuss them. Hope to see you at the next meeting: Saturday 26 May,
9:00-11:00am.
