I have been successful with the Dell customization stuff spcifying the
Intel wireless adapter. I really liked the 17" super-high-res display I
had, too, with the Intel display adapter.
I would've bought another if their Financial Services folks not tried
hard to screw me over at the end-of-lease on that laptop: I ended up
with an HP Paviliaon dv96xx instead: still has the Intel WiFi adapter,
but not so nice a screen (nVidia card, dammit).
YMMV, of course.
Tres.
