Yes, I have just jumped on after work (this ubuntu had me excited) and
I am not sure if i searched correctly for hardware drivers (i.e. an
internet search) but it claims I do not have proprietary anything
inside.
I may have to reboot in windows to get some driver info off my laptop.
but first i will try to find it on the web while in linux-land.
man i cannot wait. i envision myself ten years from now operating
completely in open source o.s.
o.k. i will stop gushing with my new excitement.
lets start tackling some serious tech things. (keep in mind i want to
maintain my slightly smart-hobbiest status)
hp pavillion n5425 if you are curious. i maxed the ram. haven't
checked the disk drive yet. or plugged in a mouse yet. but expect
greatness on all fronts.
sorry guys. i am just super excited. this is not 1997 linux. i feel
like i am in the future.
