I'll own up to wondering some of the same things as Martes. It seems like a
lot of hassle for little benefit. I have plenty of room on my shared hosting
account. Somebody come up with a URL and we'll round up $10 a year amongst
ourselves an we can put it on a virtual directory on my server space. It'll
be on Linux and everything will be open source, but it will be much less
hassle I think.
The downside is that we won't have root access.
