	I think Andy may not be on ma-linux and dclug, so I'm
	replying to this so that everyone can see the above link.
	I think it can be described as a more thorough exploration
	of the issues in the Crocker article, and I highly recommend
	that everyone give it a thorough read.

I'm retired from the hurly-burly, I've wrestled the wretched Verizon
to what I consider almost a victory(after mammoth struggles I got
DSL from them cheap), and so I'm pretty happy with my connectivity.
My feeling, as now an amateur, is that the issues remaining with
the Internet are, and will continue to be, political/legal, and
hardly technical any more.  I wonder if Andy, or others, would
agree.
