ISO Systems Administrator w/DoD Secret Clearance in DC area

 

Salary Range: $90K - $115K

 

Position Description: Successful candidate will work in a fast paced
environment solving complex technical issues.  The ideal person has a Linux
systems administration background, experience with directory services and
exposure to database applications.  Opportunities for advancement and
management are present in this environment.

 

The Sys Admin will be responsible for the following:

* Installation, operation, backup and maintenance of multiple RedHat Linux
systems. 

* Patching and configuration (including the development of Kickstart scripts
for consistent server builds) of the operating system, the database, and
various applications to ensure compliance with the Department of Defense
Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) process as well as
applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). 

* Required to develop documentation supporting the build and configuration
processes for all servers.  

* Coordinate application deployment and configuration with third party
vendors and other team members.

 

Experience with the following is preferred: 

* Sun Solaris 2-8; HPUX 9;10, Windows, DEC VMS and Red Hat Linux enterprise
Server 3, RPMS.

 

Immediate Hire Opportunity:  Full-Time Position or 1099 Independent
Contractor Status.

Clearance Required:  DoD Secret Required (TS and above clearances can be

Experience Required:  A minimum of 5+ years of related professional
experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
