*Position Overview:*
We are looking for a pre-sales Solutions Engineer (SE) to work with our 
Sales Managers in the Mid-Atlantic region who has both pre-sales and 
security experience. This position will work from our Headquarters 
office in Herndon, Virginia but also be required to travel to locations 
in the mid and southeast states. Being located in our headquarter office 
and working some of our most experienced sales managers requires this 
candidate to be on their game and enjoy being involved in many aspects 
of the sales cycle. The primary functions of the Solutions Engineer are: 
conduction customer presentations, demonstrations, analysis of 
customer’s needs and leading the technical responses to RFPs and RFIs. 
While this role is primarily focused on the commercial market, we are 
seeing growth in our federal government efforts and support to those 
efforts would be a growing requirement. The right candidate for this 
position will have outstanding written and oral communication skills and 
have been working as a pre-sales engineer for five or more years. This 
position involves a high degree of interface with other departments 
including sales, product managers, and marketing support staff.

Required Education and Experience:

Technical degree or equivalent experience; minimum of 8+ years of 
appropriate Security related experience.

Required Skills:

Pre-sales security product or services required
Vulnerability and Risk Assessments
Experience or familiarity with regulatory and compliance 
policies/procedures
MSSP experience - Firewall and Intrusion Detection Policy and Procedures
Proficiencies in both technical, procedural aspects of internet security
Experience in PKI or related two-factor authentication mechanisms
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong problem-resolution skills.
Have a solid understanding of networking concepts
Possess basic security knowledge within your discipline
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and sound oral and written 
presentation skills.
Must be detail-oriented and a team player.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-sales presentations and demonstrations for the suite of my 
clients products and services
Lead the technical response in responding to RFPs and RFIs
Assist my clients customers in the creation of solutions to meet their 
security needs or requirements
Must be able to work within a team environment with little to no 
supervision and have the ability to perform self-directed activities.
Ability to work under pressure and resolve complex problems in a timely 
and efficient manner
