Title: Linux Operations/Network Systems Engineer

Job Description Summary:
Senior level engineering position to support the operation and
monitoring of servers and network devices throughout the world. Work in
a growing, profitable, startup environment with the financial resources
to do the job right.  You will be given the responsibility and authority
to be a key contributor to make a difference.

Responsibilities:
-       24x7 support of linux based applications and servers (Solaris a
plus)
-       LAN/WAN support - routers; switches; firewalls; load balancers

-       Support of company PC's and internal data network

-       Implement network and server security policies

-       Create/upgrade/enhance/implement network management system

Required Experience:

-       5+ years Linux system administration
-       5+ years network operations environment
-       5+ years SNMP NMS system experience (Nagios a plus)
-       5+ years router, firewall and network switch experience
-       Knowledge of DNS, SSH/SCP, HTTP protocols required
-       Perl and shell script programming experience a plus
-       MRTG experience a plus

-       Familiarity with securing networks and servers

Location: Sterling, VA
Full/Part/Contract: Full Time
