(*SIGH*) I don't see how that at all distinguishes it from the other 
lists. The geographical aspect is moot; the distinction between dc and 
the dc suburbs is fairly low. Beyond that, it's a list for chatting 
about linux--much like the others, no?

I'd say that discussions of the meetings do not form the bulk of the 
messages, and never have. But as I said, it's obvious that you *want* 
there to be a difference between the lists, so the situation will remain 
as it is, and people will keep crossposting. No big deal, I've got a 
duplicate filter.
