[Ma-linux] OT: Verizon FiOS TOS

I've been on FiOS for about 18 months now.

Trhere's a battery wired into the system that keeps the phone system online
during power outages. It's supposed to last 4 or 8 hours, something like
that....I've never had a long enough power outage to test it out.

The only complaint I have with the service is that for the TV service, the
set top box doesn't catch the channel changes from my Series 2 Tivo
sometimes. When I find my serial cable I'm going to try to get them to turn
the serial port back on.

I'm curious about what was found to be objectionable in the ToS.

Is there a separate FIOS ToS vice DSL?

BTW:

WRC-TV is looking for unhappy FIOS customers, esp. over the surrendering
copper for POTS. [Hence losing power-failure operation of your phone...]

I have a contact name...
