Forgive if this is a stupid question... but why should I care about keeping
copper now that I have FIOS? In case I want to dump Verizon and go back to
Verizon? DSL for me (my previous broadband connection) was of okay speed,
but was pitiful in terms of reliability... and I had a business class DSL
line. At least their customer service was outstanding through the years ;-)
Believe me, if I had any real choice... (I'm no fan of Verizon).
I don't think legally they can't deny you basic phone service if you request
it... and my existing landline works just fine over the fiber connection.
I'm sure you guys have a good reason for wanting to keep the copper line,
but I'm missing it...
TTYL.
