[Ma-linux] When is the next Debian release coming?

I just got an E-mail from CheapBytes:  Debian 3.1 R5 "is here!"

But I want the new, non-sarge Debian.  I seem to recall it was coming
in January.  Does any Debian developer here have a guestimate about
when it will appear?
