good.
once you 'reset', yast may work better to set stuff, including a
different driver.
I assume you looked at en.opensuse.org and susewiki.org and google for
help.
I thought this was a server. so why X?

I turned that off on most of my systems. I haven't had much success
and don't see a need for it. iwill wait for everyone to tell me WHY I
need to have it turned on now :)
