[Ma-linux] Linux, Wine, and Excel/VBA

Has anyone had success running Excel with VBA under WINE? A Google 
search finds no one with complete satisfaction. I recently tried Wine 
0.9.53 with MS Office 2000 and got errors running my scripts. I will 
look into it some more but I am not willing to spend a lot of time to 
get it running. And VBA support in OpenOffice is still not ready for 
prime time. Your experiences and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
