I remember seeing something similar from Redhat about 6 months ago, but
can't find a thing on their website now. That kind of illustrates my
point. There's a rumble of thunder in the area of interoperability, and
then nothing. As the Suse hypervisor is just Xen, Windows clients
certainly SHOULD work and be supported. Same with current Redhat. Not
sure about KVM.
It just seems odd to me (perhaps it shouldn't) that Microsoft likes to
take these nice photo ops with the open source competition, and sign
these wonderful agreements, but then everyone leaves town, and the
tumbleweeds take over. Is it just a case of "Here, we did it, we
support it, it works, now shush." Or is it really how I perceive it as
just a photo op with no real support behind it?
This is likely wandering off topic, so I'll stop there before I really
start ranting... :)
