[Ma-linux] OT: Request for space (4 November)

Open Source Friends,

This is a plea for space in the DC area to hold a BarCamp (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BarCamp) on 4 November. The date was picked as
the day before GOSCON (Government Open Source http://www.goscon.org/)
because of the number of people coming from out of town for GOSCON who would
like more technical discussions.

IF you know of a space or have access to a space, PLEASE contact me ASAP. I
have spoken with about half a dozen people and there are some possibilities,
but nothing is set yet. A university is ideal, but this is on a Wednesday
and those pesky classes are getting in the way.

We are looking for
   1 room that can hold about 100 people
   4-10 smaller areas for break out sessions
   8am - 5 or 6 pm
   metro accessible is best

Do you know of any space that might be available on short notice?

IF someone is affliated with the VirginaTech/UVA extension center in Falls
Church and KNOWS that they don't have classes during the day, PLEASE contact
me directly.
