no, it's not. that was my point a CD or DVD requires a special purpose 
program to burn the medium. a flash drive is simply a disk.

now CDs and DVDs are certainly cheap, but they are SLOW, and in the case 
of CDs, easily scratched.

and if you like dragging and dropping, there is always the file manager.
