The main trick is that you need to be able to edit your DNS records to add a
TXT record with SPF settings in it.  How to do that correctly depends on
your DNS server and other factors like which servers are allowed to relay
mail for your domain.  Google will get you help on how to set it up.

I think spamassassin knows how to lookup SPF records, so you might just have
to tune the scores that come back or else use the defaults.
