I suppose I can see how my answer might be taken as "disrespectful", but 
that was certainly not my intention.

Because I can't remember everything. You caught me.

There is a phrase you see in books: "the rest is an exercise left to the 
student". At some point the person asking the question needs to actually 
Do Some Work For Themselves.

Sometimes my answers contain Exact Facts. Sometimes I merely Point In 
The General Direction.

I still stand behind my assertion that 'yum and apt-get' are very 
similar. Certainly more similar to each other than rpm is to dpkg.
