[Ma-linux] CentOS network install

Trying to install CentOS 5.5 via network install method using a CentOS mirror.

Following the basic procedure as shown here:

http://omotech.com/blog/2010/06/09/centos-5-5-netinstall/

I configure the network interface, then go set up the mirror such as this:

website: mirrors.cmich.edu
directory: centos/5.5/os/i386

This should be all I need to start a network install.

Research via google (yeah, I researched this) all shows this is about what you
need to do. Not much more to it.

However, can't seem to find the stage2.img which I guess is what starts the
install process. I can ping my box so I think the network interface is
configured and I put gateway and DNS server info in the config so the box
should be able to contact the sites.

I've tried three different mirrors with no luck.

Any suggestions?

Jay
