What do you mean by 'losing connection'? do your TCP connections like
e.g. SSH hang, or is it rather that you can't connect at all to your
website at times?
If it's the former, some ISPs do connection timeouts at the perimeter as
a security measure. Annoying as heck---my work does that and as a result
I have lost work many times over.
