Hey guys

Is there any way to grab a single frame an mpeg video device (eg /dev/
video0) using only the command line? I've looked all over the place,
and so far only found this:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?t=430139

This uses mplayer and seeks to a specific time in an mpeg file, then
exports to a jpg. However, /dev/video0 is set up on my machine for
streaming mpeg output. So I can't provide a specific time. I could
output one second of /dev/video0 to an mpeg file, then capture a jpeg
from that, but that seems rather roundabout. Is there any way to grab
one jpeg without this intermediate step?
