[Novalug] "Favorite" Hosting site??

OK - my 1and1 Professional Preview account is going to expire "soon" [I
like how they won't tell me up front when this will happen .... ;-) ]
So I am interested in knowing what the favorite hosting providers are
amongst our group.

Requirements?  This will host a .us domain and is a family domain.
Thus, there is not a big need for tons of accounts, storage, bandwidth.
A "simple" website essentially.  Knowing it could be expanded is nice.
1and1 offers ssh access with some packages.  That is appealing since
GoDaddy won't allow ssh access so I can install a timesheet app I'd
like.   Ssh access would be nice but not a necessity.  GoDaddy's Linux
apps is really nice - to the point of almost being a requirement.  And
of course, cost is a factor ....
