	As I read it, that's not the agreement.   Only those who sign up for support 
get the patent protection, and those who do things only for hobby work - and 
don't share that work with anyone else.   So I don't think kde, gnome, emacs, 
etc. have any protection from this agreement.   Not that they are necessarily 
in danger of anything.   I think they are in more danger than before, though.
