Nino is on the mark!

If you really must to buy something,
Linux in a Nutshell - O'Reilly
Unix Power Tools - O'Reilly (not Linux Power Tools) (but definitely not
for the first book)
IMHO, the best book ever for sysadmins.
Anything by Mark Sobell. I still use his Practical Guide to Red Hat
Linux 8 as a general reference.

But if you just google for it, you can find all kinds of really
excellent tutorials and reference books at all levels for free. Look at
the free Advanced Bash Scripting Guide by Mendell Cooper, for example.
You really can't buy anything better on the subject. For step-by-step
server administration, look at Trinity OS. And of course, learn how to
get what you want out of the man pages. Start with man man.
