It should be automatic. You should see the card reader listed when you
run /usr/sbin/lsusb. In addition, you should see usb_storage and sd_mod
listed when you run /sbin/lsmod. You should see the USB reader devices
listed in /proc/scsi/scsi. Normally you will see an item on your desktop
for the memory card that is plugged in.
If there is a problem, it may be that the SIIG reader is not included in
the list of devices recognized by the usb_storage kernel module. You may
need a newer kernel. I assume that the card reader is visible with some
other OS, so you know that the hardware works.
