Keepass (Re: [Novalug] Gringotts replacement? On Ubuntu & CentOS)

1. Keepass: it installs with the installer in Ubuntu. Only problem I've
had is the program crashes if one does ctrl-y without first selecting an
item from the left pane (to add to the database; bug report filed). Runs
under Win w/o installing (just run the executable after unpacking it).
Runs under Win from a flash drive so you can take it with you. Don't know
about CentOS
http://keepass.info/ but there are debs and rpms.

2. Password Safe: I just transferred all of my data into Keepass 'cause
it's better. While there are Win and Linux versions, the data looks
scrambled in the "notes" area when reading a database created under Linux
in the Win version. (The transfer was very labor intensive - despite
claims to the contrary, I was unable to produce a file that cleanly
imported to Keepass.)

They both have graphical interfaces, nice colors, and generate passwords.
