I've done some simple games in Tcl/Tk that run on Linux,
Windows and Mac.

Christmas 2005 is my favorite. All the games are kid-safe.
I can recommend No Starch Press's "Programming Linux Games" as a good
read. This is game writing from Loki's perspective.
I've done a 1-3 hour presentation on Tcl/Tk for game writing a few
times at Penguicon and the Tcl/Tk Conference.
I could be easily convinced to do this at a NovaLug meeting, given that
I'm in the DC area that weekend. I'm actually a Michigander, but my
primary client is in DC, so I spend a fair amount of time "down south".
