Hi Greg, that ought to be plenty of horsepower to run Ubuntu. You might
want to try either 5.10 or 6.06 (or even later); I had a *few* problems
running 5.04 on a couple of similar PCs (PII and PIII CPUs at 400 - 800
MHz) that would run 5.10 fine, and one of them is still running 6.06 LTS
server. All of them had at least 256Mb, with most having 512 or 768.

Yep - I've run 5.10 and 6.06 on headless PCs with 128Mb with no problems.

Yeah, I remember running OS/2 2.0 on an IBM PS/2 with a 20 Mb disk and 4
Mb RAM and it ran the desktop fine.
