My thanks to all of you. This is the fourth time, as
chance would have it, that I've found myself on the near
sidelines of an event of intense interest to many people, between
them and it. Playing clearinghouse can be pretty frenetic,
especially at first.
Also, my filters still aren't tweaked quite right;
novalug posts go into a novalug folder -- but not the incoming
one; so my monitoring routine has been skipping this list, by no
intention of mine.
Neither of us has any affiliation with Tech, nor has been
in significant danger; but there is a thing we can do.
If any novalug regular -- Rich, are you there? -- has
someone here to reunite with, we can put you up.
I'm told public lodging is overrun with media types. A
friend who was working in the hospital Ronald Reagan was taken to
says the chaos may go on for another three weeks. We have plenty
of space, food, and beer; DaveA is one of my witnesses.
