Hi there,

We are considering using Ubuntu Servers instead of our current Debian
Users, mostly because out-of-the-box LAMP support. Also I have seen that
Ubuntu Servers have ISPConfig as well ready for use.

Our setup is the following: We make extensive use of Virtual Hosting
on Apache Linux Servers. We have an Active Directory domain, using
Windows DNS Server.

We need to create easily virtual hosts on the Apache Server and update
the Windows DNS Server setting up the new pointer for the virtual host.
I have seen that nsupdate could work on Windows DNS Servers as long as
the security is enabled, but I am wondering if this is possible to
accomplish.

So my question is, is ISPConfig the tool that I need, is there any
other tool that allows to update the Windows DNS Server? I don't think
that It would be worth to set up a mixed Windows/Linux DNS servers so
the BIND Server just for avoiding to add manually the entry :)

  Many thanks,

  Miguel
