Looks like you did :)
The list is open and anyone on the list can post anything they desire.
I suggest that the subject inform people what the message is about and
that it be on topic somehow or contain OT in the subject.
However, you can post what you want and people will respond as they
see fit. Heck, you can do everything 'perfect' (by some definition of
perfect) and you can get slammed.
The list is for members of NOVALUG and computers, specifically Linux
brings us to the list (my assumption). If there is something that
somehow relates to this OR you think people on the list might be
interested in, post.
