[Novalug] External Enclosures - Choice?

I like the Microcenter ones, they hava a SATA for $25:

Not sure about the AC cord, and it is 3.5" - 5.25" would work with CD/DVD drives if that's what you are looking for.

Also, I'll briefly advocate using IEEE-1394, aka Firewire, for your  
interface, instead of USB2. There are a lot of chipsets that do  
USB2<->IDE conversion, a few of which are problematic, but for  
Firewire, it seems like most folks use TI's excellent Oxford 911 or  
924 chips, both of which I can personally attest to working quite  
nicely in Linux, at least for hard drives.
