I actually convinced folks 3yrs ago to use request tracker on a contract
in DC. I didn't get the pleasure of installing it on Solaris at the
time because we didn't have any Linux system there. We also had a closed
network that made it even more difficult to install all of the dependencies.
It's worth checking out.
