FWIW, I just purchased a Lenovo Thinkpad T61P. Core Duo2 2.4GHz
CPU with a gigabyte of RAM. I dig it. Only paid 1400 for it,
and removing Windows was easy. My only issue was that I jumped
through many hoops to get the Intel developers to release the
updated video graphics driver and updated Linux DRM stuff, along
with pushing for updated agp support in FreeBSD.
Now, all is well and I rock. But I still can't use beryl. I
win and I lose at the same time ... :)
