Ah.... Yeah. I can only speak of the WRT54G[SL] models, but I think
this applies to all of the OpenWRT (and possibly similar) images.
Everything lives in non-volatile memory areas, so you can configure the
system just like it's on a hard drive and have it survive a reboot.
It's all very easy to play with.
